Season 13 opens with Ron Artest & Peta Murgatroyd, Rob Kardashian & Cheryl Burke, Kristin Cavallari & Mark Ballas, Chynna Phillips & Tony Dovolani, Nancy Grace & Tristan MacManus, David Arquette & Kym Johnson, Elisabetta Canalis & Val Chmerkovskiy, Hope Solo & Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Carson Kressley & Anna Trebunskaya, J.R. Martinez & Karina Smirnoff, Ricki Lake & Derek Hough, and Chaz Bono & Lacy Schwimmer coming out on the dance floor to doing what they call dancing to impress the judges.

A couple are eliminated in the first results show of the season.

In the first elimination night the judges' scores from yesterday will be joined with the public votes. The couple with the lowest scores will be eliminated. Pros and the new troupe dancers will showcase the opening dance. Harry Connick Jr. and LMFAO are performing in the results night.

Eleven remaining couples will be dancing either the Quickstep or the Jive.

Nancy will be dancing the Viennese Waltz, Rob the Foxtrott, Kristin the Samba and Carson the Tango. All other couples will be dancing the sensual Rumba.

With Chaz Bono & Lacey out of the competition, Nancy Grace & Tristan, David Arquette & Kym, Hope Solo & Maksim, J.R. Martinez & Karina and Ricki Lake & Derek are in it still and this week is Halloween Week! the episode was full of thrills and spills and chockfull of entertainment. also, it was good to watch all contestants.
